The Fall season is always a hectic period for the Chamber, and this year is no exemption.
We kicked off September with an interactive Silicon Valley-Uppsala pitch event at Intel’s headquarters in Santa Clara. Four promising startups pitching in Sweden received excellent feedback from a knowledgeable and experienced panel here in Silicon Valley. Thank you Nicolai Wadstrom, Steven Atneosen, Paul McNamara and Caroline Y. Shan!

SACC-SF/SV believes in interactive video events. It is an effective way of increasing and supporting the exchange between Sweden and the US in a sustainable way.
When people talk about Silicon Valley the first word that come to mind is more likely to be tech than fashion. But the fact is that San Francisco is a lot about fashion, and tech is an essential part of the future for fashion. AR/VR dressing rooms, temperature-changing fabrics, and secure online payments are some of the things reshaping the fashion industry and our shopping patterns.
September 19 is the first day of Fashion Community Week in San Francisco, and SACC-SF/SV is proud to be a partner. During this week you are invited to attend – with a discount for SACC members – fashion shows featuring International and local Fashion designers showcasing Haute Couture, Pret-A Porter, Eco Collection and One of a Kind Designs! The week also features informational fashion conference, showroom, pop-up, and private runway collection viewing!
We are looking forward to meeting the founder of our new business partner Power Women, Anna Wretling. She will visit the Chamber and San Francisco during September, to prepare for launching her brand on the US market.
In September we are also hosting Connecting Women, a three days program with visits at companies like Facebook, Google, Intel, Snowflake, Slack and Bla Bla Foods.
