It has been called a Google-powered all-electric Tesla killer. Polestar 2 and Volvo Cars Road Show lands at Pier 35 in San Francisco this weekend.
“A brand offshoot from Volvo’s original Polestar hybrid vehicle, the Polestar 2 will be the Swedish-Chinese carmaker’s first 100% electric vehicle, described by the company as “an avant-garde 5-door fastback, packed with distinctive design flourishes”.
Boasting a 78 kWh battery (72 kWh in China) and EFAD (electric front axle drive) and ERAD (electric rear axle drive) motors each offering 150 kW, 330 Nm of torque, the Polestar 2 will offer owners a targeted range of 500 km/275 miles.” From The Driven, July 31
