The Swedish American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco & Silicon Valley is offering 3 internships at the office in San Francisco.

MEMBERSHIP & BUSINESS STRATEGY INTERN (6 months)

The Membership & Business Strategy intern’s role includes developing new relations, fostering and maintaining relations with current members and ​attracting new members. ​The intern will manage the daily administration and communication with our members, as well as developing membership values and benefits. The intern will work closely with the Events and Sponsorship Intern to secure sponsors for

SACC-SF/SV’s events. The role also includes working with budgeting, action plans and event participation.

Requirements:

●  Higher education within Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing or equivalent

●  Related work or extracurricular activities

●  Structured, Outgoing personality, salesmanship and initiative skills

●  Teamwork and Leadership skills

●  Stress resistant and able to keep a positive attitude in all situations

●  Service minded

●  Excellent verbal and written skills in Swedish and English

This is a 6 months internship beginning in January 2019. ​The internship has no monetary compensation, as SACC-SF/SV is a non-profit organization. As an intern abroad, you may apply for scholarships. Some students, depending on the university program, might also be eligible to receive student aid from CSN. SACC-USA will assist with the visa application. You must be a Swedish citizen eligible for a ​J-1 visa to be considered for this position.

EVENTS & SPONSORSHIP INTERN (6 months)

The Events & Sponsorship intern’s role includes planning and implementing activities such as business seminars and networking events and securing speakers for events. The intern will plan, produce, deliver and follow up event activity. This includes creating event and marketing proposals,

budgeting, time plans, writing post-event reports and more. The Event and Sponsorship intern will be involved in research for new event ideas. Please email cover letter and resume in English to to Camilla at recruitment@sacc-sf.org.
