We are excited to introduce our new additions to the SACC-SF/SV team – Karin Lindqvist and Clara Ramshage! Karin and Clara and are joining us in San Francisco in person, and we are very happy to welcome them to the team.
Karin is joining the Chamber as a Marketing and Business Development intern, until the summer of 2022. With an academic background in international business and law, she is eager to join the team and learn more about international trade and creative marketing strategies. What excites her the most about this internship is getting to work with the chambers’ inspiring members and helping Swedish businesses thrive in the US market. Her previous experience working with international trade, management, and non-profit associations will serve as a useful foundation for her work with the Chamber.
Karin grew up in Karlstad and went on to pursue studies in Gothenburg, with an exchange at RMIT in Australia. With a strong interest for international experiences, she has lived, worked, and studied in five countries worldwide. She is more than excited to now spend a year in the vibrant city of San Francisco. In her spare time, you will most likely find her at the tennis court, attending social events with friends, or exploring new hiking trails around the city. After her year at SACC-SF/SV, Karin will return to Sweden to finish her studies and graduate with a double degree in international business and law.
Clara is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in International Business & Management and is passionate about trade promotion, impact investing, and project management. Driven by curiosity, she has a multidisciplinary academic background and previous experience from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the asset management firm Carnegie Fonder, and the energy company Göteborg Energi. With a holistic aspiration to making an impact, she has a rigorous background in several non-profit organizations besides co-founding a project within social entrepreneurship in South Africa.
Clara is now joining the Chamber as an Event & Membership Services Intern. With a strong focus on learning, she is enthusiastic about facilitating both the development and implementation of strategic projects with a solution-oriented mindset. With a wide palette of interests, Clara enjoys running, writing novels, and attending social events. Growing up in Gothenburg, she has always had an urge to explore the world and is excited about the opportunity to join the team while in San Francisco.
We are certain that Karin and Clara will contribute great value to the chamber and look forward to working with them for the coming future!
