“The internship at SACC SF/SV exceeded all my expectations – the organization, the talented people in and around SACC and the possibility to work and live in one of the world’s most interesting cities.” -Emma Lindelöw, Marketing intern spring 2018

Every year talented interns from Sweden join the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco & Silicon Valley team to help create business opportunities and network experiences for our partners. It’s a great opportunity for young professionals to gain valuable experience and expand their network in an inspiring atmosphere. During the spring of 2018, Magnus Wallin and Emma Lindelöw had different responsibilities. After their time at SACC-SF/SV they continued their journey in Silicon Valley with internships at our partner companies.

Magnus Wallin, former Event intern, just started his internship at the global Swedish company Nefab, which provides complete packaging solutions. “So far, I have found my job very inspiring and rewarding. To work with a global company that serves class leading corporations in their respective domain is a real opportunity.” Magnus first got to know the company during his time at the Swedish-American Chamber as Nefab is one of the partner companies. He explains that the chambers central part in the local ecosystem makes it a superb place to access knowledge about the unique Silicon Valley business environment and culture.

Furthermore, it gave him many insights and experiences that have been momentous for his future career. This is something that Emma Lindelöw, former Marketing intern, also mentions: ”My internship has taught me to work in a rapidly changing environment, and it has also sharpened my networking skills!” Emma is currently an intern at P2 Wireless, a company that provides wireless infrastructure for Smart Cities and Safe Cities. She met the founder Bo Larsson on an event that SACC-SF/SV hosted and got interested in the company. In her role she works with Sales and Marketing Development in the North American market.

SACC-SF/SV is proud to have talented interns who have the ambition to continue with our interesting partners. Emma and Magnus stories show that the SACC-SF/SV community is a valuable network that creates opportunities, both for young professionals, but also for companies looking for new talent.

Thank you Emma and Magnus for your work at SACC-SF/SV and good luck on your new adventures!
